Video Worthy

Holy guacamole–this might be the coolest paint job in the history of the automobile. This clip from “Paint Misbehavin’” on TLC shows Steve Flanagan and his jolly pirate painting crew turning a black Cadillac Esacalade into a one of a kind, incognito police car.

The unique “Heatwave” automotive coatings they use for this job really do stretch the limits of believability, but it is 100% real. I haven’t the foggiest idea how it works, nor do I care. My mind is far too blown to be worried about the technical stuff.

Watch out, criminals, crooks, and ne’er-do-wells. The 5-0 just got a whole lot sneakier.

While this video may be a bit over reactionary, it still brings up a good point: do you really know what’s in all the stuff you put in/on your hair, face, body, and mouth every day? Does anyone really read cosmetic labels anymore? (Did anyone do that to begin with?) Any ingredient that has over four syllables or so is probably bad for you.

Some of the “toxic” products you’ll probably find in your bathroom are more obvious than others–it’s doubtful that anyone thinks that teeth whiteners aren’t at least a little bit dangerous. But what about your toothpaste? That S.H. goes IN YOUR MOUTH!

Ultimately, what’s being said here is this: Keep an eye on what you put in/on your body. Remember, “toxins in, toxins out.”
